We just got back from Kirksville. Tyler graduated this weekend...words can't describe the feelings we had during this trip. It was one of the best weekends ever. Perfect weather. Awesome, amazing friends. The best parents in the world. Becoming a Doctor. Swimming. Playing. Eating at fun restaurants. We could not have asked for a more perfect ending to this incredible journey we have been on. I am so thankful for all the support we have had during it all too. We would not be here without all the help of our parents and family and friends. We love you all so much and will forever be indebted to you for all you have given.

It's great to be 8
Hallie got baptized yesterday. She was a little nervous about being baptized in front of lots of people but she still was brave and did it. Grandma and Grandpa Borrowman sent her a corsage for her special day and she loved it. She kept saying "I just feel so fancy today mom."
It was a little weird watching my own daughter be the one in the water...I still can't believe she is that old but I am so proud of her for the big decision that she made.
She had her interview with the Bishop. I was waiting in the hall for her and when she came out I said "how did it go?" she gave me the thumbs up sign and went to primary. Bishop followed right after her and had tears in his eyes. He said "You have a sweetheart there." Then he told me about their interview. He was talking to her about what baptism is and what the gift of the Holy Ghost is. He said to her that the spirit will help her in her life to know what is right and she said " I already know this because on the way to church, even though the music was really loud, I felt the spirit telling me that I was making a very good choice today." I love this little girl...
We had Aunt Jessica and Uncle Chris and Luke come out for the baptism and we had many wonderful friends who came to support us. I honestly don't know what we would do without our amazing friends who are so much like family to us. We didn't actually get any pictures of our whole family or anyone that came but here are the few that we did manage to get.

It is done!
The day has finally come for our schooling career to be over. Tyler finished his last day of school today and now has a 2 month break before residency begins. If I could shout and jump up and down on this blog, then that is what I would be doing.
I am so proud of him for all that he has accomplished. He has worked hard to get through Medical School and he has done an amazing job doing it. Not only has he learned a WHOLE bunch of medical stuff but he has continued to be a very dedicated father and husband. I honestly can say that he made these last 4 years a blast. He also got great reviews from each of the Doctors that he followed during 3rd and 4th year. Each one always stating what an excellent Dr. he will make. I fully agree with all of them and think that he will be outstanding.
We all love you so much and just want you to know how much we appreciate all the hard work you have done and will do for us. Way to go DAD.

Happy Birthday Hallie
This was a big birthday for you! You have been so excited cause you knew you would be getting baptized at 8. I remember when you were 4 and 5 you absolutely refused to be baptized. You went to someone else baptism and got so scared when the had to go under water. You decided you would just not ever be baptized and that was that. I think once you got used to being in water and learned to go under all on your own this helped you over come the fear. When you turned 6 you were all excited again and couldn't wait for 2 more years!
Now we have to wait for May to come because we are getting you baptized in Nauvoo since Grandma and Grandpas will be there with us. I am so excited for you. I can't believe that you are 8 years old now. Where has the time gone?
You are into new thing now. Princess's are quickly fading from your life (although, Annie can talk you into dressing up with her once in awhile!) and you are starting to get into jewelry and nail polish and clothes and older kid things. It is a really fun stage you are at right now!
Here are 8 things we love about you:
1- you love to stay in your pajamas all day if you can. Saturdays are your new favorite day for this very reason
2- you are so good at reading now and love to go to the library and pick out new chapter books for you to read. We also had to get you a reading lamp for your bed so you can stay up late and read!
3- you can do your own hair now and you are getting really good at it
4- you also pick out your own clothes and have really good taste. Very stylish!
5- you are an amazing helper to Mom.
6- You love to be outside and swinging and jumping and organizing all the kids into what you will play
7- you are a wonderful little artist and write the best books!
8- You have such a desire to do what is right.
We love you so much bubba and hope that you know how special you are!

Did you know...
I am not very good at updating the blog lately? I have had no energy to do anything so , of course, the blog is the very last thing that I think of. Here are a few things that we have been up to...
We went to a drive in theater and ate hamburgers and drank root beer! Such a fun night and one that we will repeat often I am sure.

I am not sure why Annie is crying in this picture but I can promise you it wasn't long lived! Tyler was super Dad this night and built them all their very own car. I think Barry lived in this car for 2 days straight.
She is getting so big now...but never to big to bring her doll along for the ride.
See, much happier now...or is that a fake smile? Either way, she is a doll.

Announcement...
I posted this on facebook but if you are like me and never on there, I thought I would post on here for you. We are having baby #5 on or around October 13th! We are soooo excited and soooo nervous. I know we said we were done at 4 but we all know how that goes when you just know that you have another coming and you can't say no! I am really hoping this is the last one but not going to say it this time cause I don't want to jinx myself again!
As for what we think we are having...if you have followed us in the past, then you know that we rely a lot on Hallie to determine this. She says we are having a baby brother! Barry cried at this. He said "Nooooo, I am the brother."
